2023 Election: Reactions As Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Sprays Money On Residents From SUV

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has come under heavy criticism for spraying money at residents of his states, while he was being driven in a convoy through a cheering crowd. Bala Mohammed during the weekend caused a chaotic scene during his visit to Azare town where threw money at residents. The Governor who was being hailed by the crowd stood up through the open roof of his SUV and sprayed naira at a happy crowd. This act is actually against the Nigerian law Section 21 (3,4,5) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act 2007 clearly prohibits any form of abuse of the Nigerian currency. The Act prescribes “imprisonment for a term not less than six months or to a fine not less than N50,000 or to both such fine and imprisonment for anyone guilty of spraying of, dancing or matching on the Naira or any note issued by the Bank during social occasions. Tammy Abraham speaks on decision to snub Nigeria for England

Swansea City striker, Tammy Abraham, has categorically stated that he never considered playing for Nigeria despite being approached by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, President Amaju Pinnick.
Pinnick, who claimed to be friend of the player’s father, had assured football loving Nigerians that Tammy Abraham will represent Nigeria at senior level having played for England youth teams Born and raised in London, Abraham was eligible to play for the Super Eagles through his parents, but he opted to pledge his allegiance to England.
But after being called up to England’s senior squad for the friendly matches against Germany and Brazil, Abraham maintained that there was never any real prospect of him playing for Nigeria.
He told Sky Sports, “I was pretty set on England really. Playing in the Premier League meant it would be nice to play in the England team as wellwell
“It was flattering [that Nigeria wanted me], but for me my main focus was here.
They tried to, but like I said, the main focus was England. I see myself as being a long-term England player — I am 100 percent focused here to try and get into that team.”
The striker has scored four goals since joining Swansea on loan from Chelsea in the summer.
