2023 Election: Reactions As Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Sprays Money On Residents From SUV

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has come under heavy criticism for spraying money at residents of his states, while he was being driven in a convoy through a cheering crowd. Bala Mohammed during the weekend caused a chaotic scene during his visit to Azare town where threw money at residents. The Governor who was being hailed by the crowd stood up through the open roof of his SUV and sprayed naira at a happy crowd. This act is actually against the Nigerian law Section 21 (3,4,5) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act 2007 clearly prohibits any form of abuse of the Nigerian currency. The Act prescribes “imprisonment for a term not less than six months or to a fine not less than N50,000 or to both such fine and imprisonment for anyone guilty of spraying of, dancing or matching on the Naira or any note issued by the Bank during social occasions. Arsenal legend Thierry Henry agrees deal to become new manager of French club Bordeaux

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, 41, has agreed to become the new manager of French football club, Bordeaux.
According to French broadcaster RMC Sport, Henry will take over at Bordeaux, who have picked up zero points from their opening two Ligue 1 fixtures.  

Henry, who enjoyed a stellar club career with Arsenal and Barcelona, and has been working as assistant coach of the Belgian national team, will replace former Uruguay international Gus Poyet who was recently suspended after he criticised the club's transfer policy at a press conference.

Following the sacking of Poyet, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that Henry  who won the 1998 World Cup with France wanted to take his first step into management at Bordeaux.

'Yes, he wants to do it, he is intelligent and he has the qualities,' Wenger told Corse-Matin.
'The existential question that we always ask ourselves is whether we are ready to sacrifice our life for the coaching

'Being passionate is selfish work. When you are passionate, you steal your time from those whom you love and to whom you could have given much more.'
